2026 Zoar Cup 250 GP Bike requirements and Limitations

  • 200-250cc  Two stroke engines only
  • 21" minimum front wheel
  • Air cooled engine (must be originally air cooled) 
  • Drum brakes front and rear (No disk to drum conversions)
  • No upside-down forks
  • Suspension travel unlimited
  • Main Frame must be steel. 
  • Carburetors Only (No Fuel Injection) May be updated. 
  • Unlimited engine modifications BUT displacement must not exceed original OEM spec plus 2mm overbore. 

250 GP Race information

Race Format (subject to change based on total entries)

  • A maximum of 2 (5 lap) qualifying heats will be held (depending on number of entries) 
  • Based on maximum entries, the top 13 from each qualifying moto will advance to the Main Event
  •  Based on Maximum entries, one Last Chance Qualifying heat will be held with the top 4 advancing to the Main event 
  •  The “Main Event" will be a single 30-minute moto plus 2 laps
  • Qualifying heats may be modified depending one number of entries 

Race Entry Information

  • Entries will be limited to 60 riders.
  • Pre-entry option will be open until class is full or September 24th 2026 
  • Pre entry fee of $60 per rider (plus minimal fees by service provider)
  • Pre-entry fee is nonrefundable after September 1st 2026.
  • This a pre-entry race only. There will be no post entry options.
  • Riders must be at least 16 years old.
  • Riders under 18 years old must have parent or guardian sign waiver to ride.


Main Event Purse

  • Minimum purse will be $3600 based on a full field of riders  
  • Other Sponsor added cash and prizes will be announced prior to and at the event.
